Far Cry 5 update 1.06 adds a new mouse+keyboard controls scheme for planes, fixes various minor issues on multi-GPU configurations, fixes minor rendering issues and an issue with game freeze on using Alt-Tab while skipping cinematics. This update also comes with a number of PC-specific fixes and tweaks. In addition, it improves accessibility, stability and performance, and packs various Mission fixes. According to the release notes, Far Cry 5 patch 1.06 adds new Avatar Items in the Character Customization and new assets in the Arcade Editor. But if you have saved then it's not that.Ubisoft has released a new patch for Far Cry 5. only for it to turn out they hadn't saved it. Thanks for taking my question in the spirit it was intended, I have asked it before and people get angry. Ok, well that's peculiar that the game overwrites it, but I have heard of weirder things. I appreciate you asking though, as I have noticed some friends in the past, forgetting such things, and blaming programs, for a mistake they could have fixed by saving it. A shame I had to dish up 4 euro for a change like that though.

I bought the Borderless Fullscreen software on Steam, and it seems to work wonderfully, turning fullscreen, which fits perfectly, into borderless. (I intentionally saved the ini file changes, after I was finished with the launcher options) I don't know why it doesn't work, but it simply doesn't. I saved, and tried again, about 11 times, whilst messing around with the options. I ask because I have used this solution myself in the past and provided you can save it, it should work. Um daft question here, but are you saving the ini file after you alter it? I will probably be forced to play in fullscreen, or something. I can edit the ini file all I want, but the launcher options, which can not be edited to the numbers I need, seems to overwrite it, whenever I try to launch it. Originally posted by Юλия Беλинская:Doesn't change anything for me. This wasn't a very good release by Bethesda as there is not enough changed to warrant someone to pay for this if they already own the game. Needless to say, I switched back to playing the old Skyrim right away. Another thing I noticed was characters in the background would be blurry and out of detail but the ones close up would be more crisp and look normal. There was, however, more annoying fog than i recall and motion blur was annoying the hell out of me. I didn't really tour around Skyrim that much like check out the rain or water effects because from what I initially saw from firing up an old saved game file was that the game looked similar to the original. All I noticed was way longer load times and slower fps. I noticed barely any real difference between this edition and the original.

I finally got it to display properly in windows mode by deselecting both windowed and borderless mode in the launch options.

It worked, however I was getting it windowed and the windows task bar was still visible in game.
